We love helping promote + amplify all the amazing things in our community, providing useful resources to entrepreneurs, and connecting brands with local customers.
Not to #humblebrag, but our feed engagement and Stories click-through rates are pretty awesome. We’ve heard from many of our followers that they find out what’s happening in DC’s creative community by following + engaging with us.

who we feature
CollabCreate DC wants to feature the following types of people, events, and businesses who are based in the DMV area:
- Creative entrepreneurs and artists of all types - including tech-based creators
- Local small businesses, both online and brick + mortar
- Small business + entrepreneur resources or consultants
- Community organizations doing non-profit work or providing small business support + resources
- Workshops including but not limited to: business resources + small business, creative and DIY workshops open to the community at large, personal development + training, fitness + holistic wellness, etc.
- Events such as: art installations + openings, music events, pop-up shops, special markets, community events and fundraisers, meetups, co-working, etc.
Note that we do not feature corporate or non-local entities without sponsorship or donations through Patreon or our other programs. For corporate sponsorship details, contact us.
types of features
Currently, our social media focuses on daily Instagram Stories + feed posts Monday through Friday.
(We also have very under-utilized Twitter and Facebook feeds - if anyone wants to help grow those, let us know!)
Each weekday, we post a feature highlighting a local creative entrepreneur or small business, events and workshops, business resources + tips, and more. Our community loves getting to know the people creating awesomeness in our city, so we encourage you to let them behind the scenes a bit and share how what you’re doing is unique.
Each weekday, we post + reshare tagged posts onto our Stories feed that focus on local events + workshops. We also share locally made products + services, and resources for creative entrepreneurs. All Stories are archived on our Highlights. Note that we limit our Stories posts to a maximum of 12-15 per day.

Note that due to the volume of tags we get, we may not be able to reshare or feature every post tagged. We do our best to engage with every tag, and appreciate it when you return the love!
Tip: Make it as easy as possible for us to reshare your content! Please don’t send image files unless we request them - just tag us in your posts + Stories.
how much do features cost?
Currently, our features are free to members of the CollabCreate DC community who meet the above requirements. If you find value in what we’re doing, you can support us by donating to our Patreon. Your contribution is important, and it helps us grow so we can offer even more resources to you. Patreon contributors will be given priority scheduling on our content calendar, Stories, and newsletter.
Select Instagram feed features will be chosen by the editor each week for inclusion in the following week’s newsletter based on space availability. All other newsletter features require a sponsorship through a donation or an exclusive giveaway to our subscribers.
