Capitol Hill Clothiers + Photo: Anthony Bolognese
Anthony Bolognese followed a path into the creative business world most of us can relate to... he didn't know exactly what he wanted to do, but he knew it had to be creatively challenging + satisfying.
From a graphic design major (which he never used), to video production, to earning the title of the East Coast's #1 custom suits salesman for Men's Wearhouse, to learning the ins and outs of men's fashion at @gentlemansgazette, each phase built skills that Anthony would ultimately use to create two businesses that reflect his passions: photography and custom tailoring.
It all clicked on the day that @anthonybolognese met Robert at a brunch. They connected about custom suits, and decided to launch their own made to measure suit business. Now, Capitol Hill Clothiers brings custom suit tailoring right to your doorstep, with an in-depth measurement process that rivals the finest bespoke London tailors. Ladies who love to rock a suit - they also have a new women's stylist as well!
When he's not keeping DC's suits in style, Anthony runs a full-time event and fashion photography business under @capitolhillphoto where he shoots the hottest events, people, and products in the DMV (just don't ask him to do a wedding). "I love that every day brings something totally different. Even if I'm booked solid for a month, I know no two days will be the same," says Anthony.
He feels what sets him apart from other photographers his age is his professionalism. By showing up well-dressed, well-spoken, and able to blend in with experienced teams, he makes a lasting impression on clients. That, along with his skill behind the lens, has landed his work in outlets like @capitolfilemag and @dcmagazine.
Anthony shares our love for the collaborative spirit of the budding DC creative community. Since DC's fashion + creative scenes are relatively young, he says it's easier to find people who are willing to collaborate here.

Thanks for sharing your work with us, @anthonybolognese - we're looking forward to seeing what great collaborations you create in the future.
